I wanted to let you know that your team has been entered into the State Playdown Tournament. As you may remember, this is a single-elimination format, where your team will face another District 5 opponent.
These games are typically scheduled with limited notice and often take place mid-week. Your team will be competing for the District 5 Championship. You will begin to see these games scheduled in the upcoming weeks. The number of games required to earn that title will depend on how many teams are entered in your division.
If your team advances, the State Tournament is scheduled for March 13-15 at the New England Sports Center in Marlborogh, when District winners compete for the State Championship Title.
The Mass Admirals/Devils Hockey program covers all Playdown costs. We simply ask that you make every effort to attend—and of course, to WIN! 💪 Last year, several of our teams advanced to the State Tournament, and it was a truly memorable experience for our players.
Please let your coach know right away if you are unable to participate.
Also, plan to check in with the District registrars upon arrival at the rink and arrive at least 45 minutes before game time for all scheduled Playdown games.
